Heels Technique for Stage  Sunday May 3rd 11:30 - 1:00       

This class is a full body training session structured to actually help you feel stable in your heels — on stage, at a wedding, or just crossing a room?

In this beginner heels technique class, we’ll strengthen your legs, core, and hips so you can walk, pose, and dance in elevated shoes without the wobble. Expect practical drills, confidence-building struts, clean turns, and simple choreography you can use anywhere you want to be seen.

No experience needed. Just bring your heels and your attitude. Pros you are more than welcome because going back to basics is always key to feel your strongest in your stilettos!

Showgirl 101  SUNDAY MAY 3rd 1:30 - 3:00

This class is for performers who want to move beyond the basics and build work that is polished, strategic, and unforgettable. We focus on the mechanics behind a stellar performance — not just the steps. Heels 101 is a great pre-req for this class but is not required.

You’ll work on:

• Elevated heels technique and stage command
   
• The five non-negotiables of an unforgettable performance
   
• Choosing and defining your burlesque character, musicality, and persona development
   
• Strategic choreography and costume conception that support your story and strengths
   
• Stage entrance, spatial awareness, and editing your presence
   
• Improv drills to strengthen organic performance instincts
   
• Business positioning to support your growth as a serious act
   

Expect focused training and practical act-building exercises you can immediately apply to your current or future number.

Wild Summer Solstice Workshop: Embody Your Radiance

Join Seraphina Supernova and Ember Fae on Friday, June 19th from 6:00–9:30 PM for an evening of movement, ritual, spellwork, community, and embodied magic at Bees Knees Burlesque Academy Cortland NY, designed to awaken your inner wild.

There’s a version of you that only comes alive in the heat, in the light of the sun, in full seasonal expression. What if you stopped shrinking your fire and let it burn exactly as it was meant to?

This is your invitation to tap into your fierce, feral self, to ignite your body, expand your expression, and take up space unapologetically. Together, we’ll shed the “shoulds” and step into something more instinctual, untamed and authentically you.

We believe you were never meant to be domesticated. It is your birthright to embody the wildness of your humanity and divinity at the same time. 

In this workshop, we will explore and embrace your unique wildness in the forest of your mind, body, heart, soul, psyche, blood, and bones through movement, meditation, ritual, seasonal spellcasting, and astrology, all held in community and guided by your resident Bees Knees Burlesque Academy witches, Seraphina Supernova and Ember Fae.


This workshop is about reclaiming your wild nature and unlocking a new level of visibility. It’s about honoring your sacred rage and your deep, intoxicating bliss.
It’s an opportunity to turn down the volume of the voices outside of you and witness yourself in your own inner truth. It’s about claiming your right to shine brighter within a container specifically created for you to burn alive in your unique radiance.
The Summer Solstice isn’t just about the sun at its peak, it’s an invitation to step into your fullest expression. This is your moment to embody your fire.

This is an all-levels workshop open to all magically curious humans. No prior experience is required.
